Mallika Mazumder

Co-director

Mallika is a science graduate with double masters and MPhil in management. She has also done a diploma in journalism. Her mother is a trained Manipuri and Kathak dancer. Born and brought up in Allahabad, India Mallika had the natural understanding and flare for music and dance.
After moving to the UK, she preferred to be a housewife raising her two daughters. However her love for music and dance & her management skill was waiting to come out to the surface. This gave birth to Indradhanush Kids along with another like minded friend.
Currently Mallika is a co-director of Indradhanush Kids and manages all back office and accounts. In addition she helps with everyday running of the school, setting up music and also occasionally help with choreography.

Abrita Chatterjee

Kathak dance teacher

She is bubbly and joyful by nature. She took interest in Kathak dance form during her early childhood days. Her love for the dance gradually helped her to groom as an individual. Besides being a trained classical dancer, she used to work as a literature teacher in school. Though she quit the job after relocating to a far land from home post marriage, her passion and drive for the dance landed her to Indradhanush Kids. ( Home far away from home).
She is a dance teacher working for Indradhanush kids. She teaches traditional Kathak, Bollywood, Fusion, Folk, and semi - classical. She teaches students from all age group and the classes love her and her energy.

Nilanjana Paul

Singing Teacher

She started her singing career at the tender age of 3.
Her Guru: Sri Sajal Basu.

School: Nanigopal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, West Bengal
Later completed her Hindustani Classical Vocal Sangeet Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samity, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh.

Participated and won many awards, including the all India Railway’s vocal Classical award.
Performed at many events including Nehru Centre and High Commission of Indian in UK.

She Started her teaching career about 10 years back. Today she is a renowned name as a teacher and well known for her knowledge, patience and attention to basics. She is a registered teacher with PRSSV, UK

PRSSV a Institute of Performing Arts and Heritage was started in the UK by Pandit Sharda Sahai and Dr Frances Shepherd in 1987. A non-profit making organisation, its work is designed to meet the current needs for generating and understanding Indian Music.

Rishika Mazumdar

Rishika is a young, energetic and aspiring dancer. She has been training and performing for the past 10 years and is training to be a senior teacher for Bharatnatyam and Bollywood music and dance

Harshita has completed her post diploma at The Bhavan and has undergone many workshops from renowned dancers such as Dr. Padma Subramanium, Surya Rao just to name a few. She is passionate & dedicated and would love to share her knowledge of this beautiful art form with others.

Mrs Sujata Sinha

Hindi Teacher

Qualification -  M.A (A.I.H), From Lucknow University. She holds over 5 years of teaching Experience. Sujata heads the Hindi division of Indradhanushkids

Kovathani Puvanachandran

Bharatnatyam Teacher

She has Studied Bharatnatyam and graduated from Bharathithasan University in Tanjure, Tamil Nadu. In London, she has been teaching Bharatnatyam for 7 years now. She is also currently an examiner for Bharatnatyam with a well established board in the UK.

Dr. Tanvi Vijay

Kathak Teacher

Dr. Tanvi Vijay is a kathak artist tained in the Jaipur Gharana tradition under the able guidance of Sangeet Natak Academy Award winner Nrityaguru Dr. Shashi Sankhla ji. Tanvi started her training at a young age and is well versed with Kathak, Rajasthani folk and Bollywood styles of dancing. She has had the honour of performing at a lot of prestegious platforms including Kalidas Samahroh, Sharad Utsav, Udai Shankar Ballet Festival, to name a few. Her passion and perseverance for dance is reflected in that she has dual Bachelor's and Master's degrees - one in Kathak & one in Psychology, ans also has a doctorate in Psychology. She was the former Head of the Department of Performing Arts at the IIS University, India and has been teaching for 9+ years. Cultural activities have been a huge part of her personal and professional life. She was mentoring the cultural club and the annual fest of the university as Assistant Professor (Psychology) at Amity University Mumbai. She aim is to share her passion for dance through performances & teaching and kindle that spark in others. According to her dance is the food for soul.

Sneha Paul

She manages all aspects of examinations, results and certifications. She heads the admin team, and also helps out with few of our Vocal Classes.

Aarti Mitesh Khatri

Aarti is a disciple of Anusha Sanjeev who studied Bharathnatyam under Adyar K Laksman. Aarti has been teaching for over 10 yrs after completing Diploma with Distinction in Bharatha Natyam under OEBL board. She is a registered teacher for OEBL (Oriental Examining Board London).

Vishal Sharma

Choreographer, Kathak and Bollywood teacher

Vishal has earned a Degree in Performing Arts and has in-depth knowledge of Different Dance styles like Kathak(Jaipur Gharana), Indian Folk Dances and Bollywood. Vishal has more than 7 years of choreography experience. His Jovial nature With his expressive Performance Quality, captivating stage presence and unwatchable dancing skills make him such a talent in the city.

Sujata Paul

Bengali Teacher

Sujata Paul is a highly qualified and experienced teacher who heads the Bangla Department of Indradhanushkids. She comes from a background of education with strong connections to teaching and being an examiner.

Nandini Ray

Bharat Natyam Dance Teacher

She started dancing at the very tender age of three in Kolkata, West Bengal and dancing has been her first love since childhood. Her Dance Guru is Dr. Mala Maitra. She was awarded the first division in the diploma of Sangeet Visharad by the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh in Bharat Natyam, Rabindra Dance and Odissi Dance.

She stood first in Solo Dance category of Dance Competition of SAARC countries in 1998. She performed in different cultural programs held in the eminent halls like Rabindra Sadan, Mahajati Sadan, Netaji Indoor Stadium etc. in Kolkata.

She is a software engineer by profession but dance is her passion and life.
